The therapists at Casa Speech all have one goal in mind - to make your child's experience with us the best part of the day, while learning communication or motor skills, too. We have an amazing team of Speech and Occupational Therapists that would love to meet you.

Our team philosophy

In order to continue to raise our bar and provide the level of care, passion, and love for the children and families at Casa Speech, we must also continue to build the best speech and OT team. To do that, we strive to make Casa Speech the best place for the best therapists to work.

    Cassandra G. Rosile - M.S., CCC-SLP

    FOUNDER | BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Cassandra is a bilingual speech-language pathologist and the proud owner of Casa Speech. She has been serving children in the Columbus area since 2015 and is truly passionate about helping the people in her community and beyond. Cassandra was born in Laredo, TX, and raised in Mexico. She received her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and her Master’s degree from Miami University of Ohio. Her professional areas of interest include Autism, early intervention, and bilingualism. Cassandra opened Casa Speech in 2017 with the hopes of establishing a family, love, and faith-based clinic that would help children in need of services and parents in need of a support system.

    Claire Schuster Murrell - M.S., CCC-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Claire is a bilingual speech-language pathologist from Hamilton, OH. She received her Bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University in 2018 -- go Bucks! Claire received her Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Marquette University and completed a Bilingual English-Spanish Specialization program during graduate school. After her graduation in May of 2020, Claire began working at Casa Speech to continue her passion of working with monolingual and bilingual children with speech and language disorders. In her free time, Claire enjoys reading, crafting, taking walks, and exploring downtown Columbus with her family and friends!

    Dorian Lacey Garita, M.S., CCC-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Dorian is a bilingual speech-language pathologist from Columbus, OH. She received her Bachelor’s degree from Denison University in 2020 with majors in Spanish and Educational Studies. After completing her externship at Casa Speech in May of 2022, she graduated from Indiana University with a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology and a specialization in English-Spanish bilingualism.

    Dorian began working at Casa Speech in September of 2022 and is passionate about her work with pediatric speech and language disorders, as well as providing services to traditionally under-served populations.

    She likes to spend her free time reading, cooking, and traveling!

    Hanna Kim - M.A., CF-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Hanna, an English-Korean speaking Speech-Language Pathologist, was born in Northern Virginia and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science in 2017 and her Masters's degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2023 from The Ohio State University.

    Hanna's professional interests lie in neurodevelopmental disabilities, AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), and working with culturally and linguistically diverse families. Her passion for the field grows every day.

    During her free time, Hanna finds joy in cooking/baking, being outdoors, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She always seeks new and fun activities to try.

    Hanna is fulfilled when problem-solving alongside families and discovering her clients' remarkable skills. She is eager to keep learning and provide the best possible support to the wonderful families at Casa Speech.

    Becca DeNiro - M.A., CCC-SLP

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Becca is a speech-language pathologist from Columbus, Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a Minor in Psychology from Elmhurst College in 2011. She received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from The Ohio State University in 2013.

    Becca’s passion has always been in pediatrics and has 10+ years of experience specializing in the areas of autism, early intervention, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Becca enjoys working together with a child’s family to individualize care and empower them to best support their child in all environments.

    She is grateful and excited to begin a new chapter in her career at Casa Speech alongside a dedicated and caring staff!

    When not at work, Becca enjoys playing volleyball, baking, and catching up with friends. She and her husband also keep busy with their 3 children and never-ending DIY home renovations.

    Kiara Peña M.S., CCC-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Kiara is a bilingual speech-language pathologist from Cleveland, Ohio. She earned both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Kent State University. She joined the Casa Speech team in 2024 and is excited to continue expanding her skills. As a native Spanish speaker, Kiara is passionate about working with bilingual children.

    When she’s not working, you can find Kiara traveling with her husband or trying out new restaurants.

    Haley Micsak - M.A., CCC-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Haley is a bilingual speech-language pathologist from Cleveland, Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science with a Minor in Spanish from The Ohio State University in 2018. She also received her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Ohio State in May of 2020. Haley is passionate about working with the pediatric population. She has experience providing therapy to children of diverse backgrounds, and is interested in serving bilingual children. In her free time, Haley enjoys cooking, playing the piano, and traveling with friends and family!

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Taylor is a Speech-Language Pathologist from Delaware, Ohio. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Hearing Science from The Ohio State University in 2019, her Masters in Healthcare Administration from Franklin University in 2020, and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Nova Southeastern University in 2022. Taylor has a passion for working with young children with speech and language disorders and strives to be a positive light in the lives of her clients. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys spending time with her husband and three daughters, exploring new activities together.

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Natalie is a speech-language pathologist from northeastern Ohio. She received her bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science, and Music from the Ohio State University. A Buckeye through and through, she received her master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from the Ohio State University.

    Natalie began working at Casa Speech right after graduate school and is passionate about her work with pediatric speech and language disorders.

    In her free time, Natalie enjoys playing the piano, singing, being outside, and spending time with family and friends!

    Alisha Rivera Aquino - M.S., CF-SLP

    BILINGUAL SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Alisha is a bilingual speech-language pathologist from Columbus, Ohio. She received her Bachelor's degree from Ohio University in Communication sciences and disorders, with a minor in Spanish and a Diversity Studies certificate. She then graduated from Indiana University with her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology with an English-Spanish specialization.

    She is passionate about working with AAC (Augmentative and Alternative Communication), language disorders, and diverse populations. In her free time, she enjoys listening to podcasts, doing her nails, and spending time with her friends and family!

    Meredith Suhr - M.A., CF-SLP

    SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

    Meredith is a speech-language pathologist from The Plains, OH. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Speech and Hearing Science and her Master's in Speech-Language Pathology from The Ohio State University. Meredith is also a current PhD student in Speech and Hearing Science in the Language, Assistive Technology, and Autism lab at Ohio State. 

    Meredith began working at Casa Speech in August 2024 and has strong professional interests in autism, neurodevelopmental disabilities, and AAC (augmentative and alternative communication).

    Outside of work and school, Meredith enjoys spending her time distance running, listening to audiobooks, making origami, and spending time with her family, partner, and pets. 

Occupational Therapists

    Katie Trippel - MOT, OTR/L

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Katie always wanted a career focused on helping others, and she found that match in Occupational Therapy. After graduating with a Masters in Occupational Therapy from The Ohio State University in 2009, Katie moved to Oregon and began her career in inpatient rehabilitation, treating adults. Later, she transitioned to providing occupational therapy in a school setting, which felt like coming home to her due to her undergraduate degree in early childhood education and her experience as a child life specialist at Nationwide Children’s for several years.

    Over the past 11 years, Katie has worked in various educational settings, gaining strong experience in treating fine motor skills, visual motor skills, sensory processing, self-regulation, visual perception, and executive functioning. She specializes in working with students who have Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, various learning disorders, and Down’s Syndrome.

    Her favorite part of the job is collaborating with students, teachers, and parents to identify tools, strategies, or interventions that ultimately increase students' independence, performance, and self-esteem at school. Katie is passionate about mental health and is mindful of students' ability to cope with daily stress, anxiety, and unique challenges, particularly those with disabilities.

    In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. When she's not adventuring with her family, she finds joy in reading memoirs, spending time outdoors, watercolor painting, running, and savoring chai lattes at her favorite neighborhood coffee shop.

    Elizabeth Ohlinger - OTD, OTR/L

    OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

    Elizabeth is an occupational therapist from Columbus, OH with a passion for helping her clients find meaningful ways to engage in life. She received her Bachelor’s degree in 2016 from Ohio Northern University, then earned her Doctorate of Occupational Therapy in 2021 from Kettering College.

    Elizabeth discovered a passion for orthopedic care during a hand therapy fieldwork placement, and soon became an outpatient hand therapist with Nationwide Children’s Hospital. She came to Casa Speech in October of 2024 to broaden her practice and build more generalized clinical skills. She continues to specialize in working with children with biomechanical difficulties, Autism Spectrum Disorder, developmental delays, and other pediatric disorders.

    At home, Elizabeth is a wife, a mom to two lovely girls, a volunteer worship leader at her church, a board gamer, and a knit and crochet enthusiast!

    Hannah Morrissey - OTA

    With a strong passion for helping others, Hannah learned at an early age that she wanted to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy. Originally from Chillicothe, Ohio, she moved to Columbus in 2017 to pursue her career as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She earned her Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and a Bachelor's degree in Individualized Studies from Shawnee State University in 2017.

    With three years of experience working in a school-based setting, Hannah is excited to continue working with the pediatric population at Casa Speech. She has experience with a wide variety of diagnoses, including Autism, Developmental Delay, learning disabilities, TBI, various genetic disabilities, ADHD, CP, Anxiety, seizure disorders, Cortical Visual Impairment, and Hypotonia. She has strong intervention experience in visual perception, visual motor skills, fine motor skills, executive functioning, self-regulation, and sensory processing.

    In her free time, Hannah enjoys spending time outdoors, crafting, cooking, and spending time with her husband.

    Aubrie Riley - OTA

    Aubrie is a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant from Colorado who relocated to central Ohio in 2021 with her husband. She has been an OTA for 13 years, working across a variety of settings. Aubrie's passion for Occupational Therapy began through her family's participation in an international organization that provided medical care for underserved children. After graduating from college, Aubrie embarked on a journey of contract work across the country, gaining invaluable clinical experience in various settings.

    Aubrie is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with her students and their families, helping students maximize their participation in daily activities both inside and outside the classroom.

    In her free time, Aubrie enjoys cycling, playing board games, and spending time with her husband and their two pups, Willow and Wrigley.

    Elizabeth Peña Domingo, B.A.

    Practice Manager

    Elizabeth was raised in Oaxaca, Mexico, and moved to Columbus, Ohio, at the age of 12. She began working at Casa Speech in 2022.

    In 2023, she received her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, double majoring in Spanish and Speech and Hearing Science.

    Elizabeth keeps the clinic operating! She’s responsible for scheduling, and many other administrative tasks, and interprets for Spanish-speaking families when needed.

    In her free time, she enjoys nature photography, listening to podcasts, and spending time with her family and two cats.
