  • Phonological Disorders

  • Stuttering/Fluency

Occupational Therapy

Your child will develop or improve the the functional skills many of us take for granted because they are engrained in our muscle memory. Our goal is to enable every child to function in their chosen environment through these learned skills. Some of the diagnoses we treat are:

  • Fine Motor Delays

  • Sensory Disorders

  • Feeding Disorders

  • Visual/Motor Disorders

  • Autism

  • Evaluation

If you are worried about your child's development, social skills, motor skills, or behavior, he or she may benefit from a formal evaluation. Evaluations at Casa Speech are 1 to 2 hours, including a parent interview, administration of standardized assessments, and clinical observations. At the end of the appointment, you will know if your child would benefit from speech and language or occupational therapy. If you have a recent evaluation from another provider, we can use that instead.

  • Treatment

If formal therapy is recommended for your child, an individualized plan will be designed by the primary therapist in order for the client to demonstrate age-appropriate or functional skills. Each plan is customized to fit your child's needs. Parents are highly encouraged to participate in therapy in order to learn strategies that can and should be applied at home. Therapy sessions range from 30 to 60 minutes and are designed to be enjoyable and effective for you and your child.

We believe in culture.

We have developed our team in a unique way that you won’t find anywhere else in Central Ohio. We know that providing services for children in their native language makes a dramatic difference. Today we offer services in English and Spanish, with many of our therapists originating from diverse cultures.

We also believe in creating a feeling of “home” at our practice. That’s where the name came from! We love to hear that our kiddos wake up asking mom if they can come to Casa Speech today.

Will insurance cover services?

Casa Speech is an in-network provider with most Ohio health plans. In many cases evaluations and therapy are covered. During your consultation, our team will look up your benefits and answer questions you have about insurance coverage or other payment options.
