Our engaging group therapy sessions are the perfect way for your child to build communication, social, and sensory skills while having fun and making friends. Led by licensed speech and occupational therapists, each group is thoughtfully designed to support developmental goals in a warm, playful environment. Whether your child needs a confidence boost or a head start before school, Casa Speech groups offer growth, connection, and summer smiles!
When: Weekly from June 9 - August 8.
Where: Casa Speech - 523 E. Engler Street, Columbus, OH
Price: $425 for the 8-week series. Some insurance plans may cover.

Being Bilinguito
Ages: 18-36 months
Time: Mondays 10:00 - 10:45 AM
Objectives: Our bilingual speech-language pathologists will engage children in play-based language activities and promote interactions with same-age bilingual peers. This group will help your child strengthen their social skills and English/Spanish proficiency through play. One parent is required to participate in each session and will receive weekly resources for bilingual language development at home. -
Play & Say
Ages: 18-36 months
Day: Wednesdays 9:00 - 9:45 AM
Objectives: Our certified speech-language pathologists will engage children in play-based language activities and promote interactions with same-age peers. This group will help your child strengthen their social and communication skills through play. One parent is required to participate in each session and will receive weekly resources for language development at home. -
Scribble & Strength
Ages: 3-9 years
Day:
- Wednesdays 10:15 AM - 11:00 AM (Ages 3-5)
- Thursdays 10:15 - 11:00 AM (ages 6-9)
Objectives: Our certified Occupational Therapists will provide multi-sensory strategies to handwriting, teach pre-writing strokes for letter formation, focus on hand-strengthening tasks, and engage children in gross motor tasks for motor planning. -
Raices y Palabras
Ages: 3-8 years
Day: Mondays 9:00 - 9:45 AM
Objectives: Our bilingual speech-language pathologists will engage children in play-based language activities and promote language development in Spanish. This group will help your child strengthen their Spanish vocabulary, conversation skills, and expressive and receptive communication in Spanish. Parents will receive weekly home-based activities to maintain their child's Spanish skills. -
Tunes & Tools: Building Skills Through Music & Art
Ages: All ages and all abilities
Day: Tuesdays 9:00 AM - 9:45 AM or 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM
Objectives: Our certified SLPs and OTs will lead children of all ages and abilities through fun and interactive sessions of music and crafting. Children will follow basic gross and fine motor directions, create a musical instrument each session, and develop new vocabulary through music. -
Everyday Experts: A Life Skills Group
Ages: Ages 5+
Day: Mondays 3:00-3:45 PM
Objectives: This group focuses on things we do every single day! Our therapists will lead participants in folding laundry, completing basic recipes, dressing, and keeping up with their hygiene. The groups will focus on stregthening skills in sequencing, following multi-step directions, executive function, safety awreness, and independence. -
Friends of Casa Speech - A Social Group
Ages: All ages and all abilities
Day: Tuesdays 11:30-12:15; Wednesdays 11:30-12:15
Objectives: Our certified SLPs and OTs have designed a speech/language, social, and occupational therapy program for neurodiverse children. This program will help children expand their social skills by interacting with same-age peers, strengthen their gross and fine motor skills, and learn new vocabulary through play, music, and hands-on tasks. Each week will focus on a different theme such as down on the farm, under the sea, music week, and sweet and salty treats. -
Voices in Action: An AAC Group
Ages: Ages 5+
Day: Wednesdays 2:00 PM - 2:45 PM
Objectives: Our certified SLPs and OTs have designed a speech/language, social, and occupational therapy program for AAC users ages 5 and up. Participants will participate in activities focusing on AAC vocabulary with peers, navigate language through fine motor and sensory activitites, and develop confidence when using their personal devices.
